Welcome to the first round of the drabble tournament. Please read this post carefully so you understand how the tournament is going to work.

Every round you will be given a themed prompt table, containing a certain number of different drabble prompts. You should then choose one prompt from the table and write a 100 word drabble (+/-10 on either side) based on the prompt.

The prompts will vary on theme from week to week. You can write your drabble in any fandom, or even an original piece unless stated. Please keep all drabbles with a maximum rating of PG-13.

The prompts within the theme will likely be very random - this is to challenge your creativity! Be as creative as you can.

Please PM me your entries as soon as possible, stating which prompt you have used and the number of words in the drabble. If you go outside the 90-110 word limit, you may be disqualified from the round!

For this round, voting will work on a sliding scale of points given, where 2 points are given to the drabble you liked least, and a maximum of 20 (though may change dependant on number of entries) to your favourite. The points conversion will be fully explained in each round's scoring thread.

The first round will have no eliminations, just points gathering.
