Emmalynn turned to Zeke. "I can't wait for tomorrow! I'm on the verge of a breakthrough! I have," she looked at her watch, "five minutes to put five dragon scales into my potion or I'll have to start over!" she yelled, pulling at her hair. "This potion has taken four days to make! I haven't slept in four days!"
She turned back to Shadow, "Please tell me you have five scales, Shadow," she said hopefully, figeting with the hem of her t-shirt.
