Where you place on the Quidditch Scoreboard at the end of each year will determine how many housepoints your house gets towards the main cup.

This is as follows:

Quidditch Cup Winners : 2500 housepoints

2nd place : 1000 housepoints
3rd place : 600 housepoints
4th place : 300 housepoints


(points have been updated for 3rd year)

New Housepoint scoring for Term 4

The end scoring for the new term is slightly different.

Each house team will not only bring in the following points varying on where they place in the quidditch cup, but also the equivalent of their game score points on top of that.

The revised scoring overall has also changed to:

1st place: 3000
2nd place: 1500
3rd place: 1000
4th place: 600

This means more points are gained from all the hard work in the quidditch cup!
