Jamie watched the quaffle being released. Glade that it was passed on to one of his team mates he flew to each goalpost in circular motion keeping his eyes on the quaffle at all times...
this could be fun.... o wait its too eary on to tell.... Jamie thought starting t get a little nervous

Jamie watched, his heart beating in his chest.
*thump* *thump* *thump*
Jamie stopped circling the goalposts to watch Rose with the quaffle.. he was perfectly save stopping this motion, no-one could through a quaffle from one side of the pitch to the other.
"please let this go in!" Jamie said to himself urgently, "please, please, please"

"La di- da. La di-da. Wait... hm... where? QUAFFLE!" Skie was thrown back by the realization that the quidditch game had started and... what the heck?! Rose was already nearing the Ravvie goals and preparing to score on Polly! "Crap, must have forgotten to drink caffeine this morning!" Skie realized. "Must not sleep during quidditch!" Shaking off all sleepiness and anything that could even be interpreted as tiredness, Skie raced after Rose. Still trying to wake her sleepy body and brain up, Skie did a barrel roll while doing long division of polynomials. "THE ANSWER IS SEVEN TIMES THE SQUARE ROOT OF 5!" Skie yelled, all of her mathematical stupidity finally solving the equation. Now, fully awake and ready to catch quaffles, dodge bludgers, player, and anything else that came her way, Skie finally caught up with Rose. "I am awake!" Skie cried happily. Getting back to buisiness, though, Skie wondered what their next move would be. "Perhaps a Badger Hammock?" Skie asked aloud. "Oh, by the way, congrats on making captain!"

Rose slowed as she herd her friend yelling out randome math as she sped to catch up. She was indeed the strangest friend Rose had, but still quiet lovable. Skie mentioned they try the Badger Hammock, and Rose knocked on her head, trying to remember what move that was. "Do we need three chasers for that one Skie, or is it the-oh? C-captain? Right, right! Um, thanks..." Rose sank back on her broom, realizing how much work this would mean. Lots and lots of work. Was she, the shy, helpless, little Huffie, really ready for that tittle? Had it been a wise decision to make her Captain?

Rose glanced around again, slowing her broom to a halt right infront of the goals. It dawned on her that she had no wizardly idea who the co-captain was. Hmmmmm....... Rose was now muttering to herself, completly unawear that they where in the middle of a game and she had the Quaffle.

"Awaken Rose from your land in the place where we go when we zone out! Rose, remember the quidditch pitch and the fact that you are holding the quaffle. WAKE UP!" Skie's patience wore thin and she finally just began to shake Rose until a reaction was made. "Snap out of it! ROSE, WAKE UP!" Skie finally realized that it was hopeless for her to try and wake up her friend. "Rose, please stop mumbling to yourself. You're really beginning to scare me, and the quaffle may begin to slip soon!" Skie was really beginning to worry about her friend and hoped that Rose would just come back from La La land sooner rather than later. "Oh, and when I said Badger Hammock, I meant Huffie Hammock. Brain fart! Sorry." Skie poked Rose for what seemed like the millionth time, but to no avail.
"Hm... Rose, there's a needle poking your arm and it's about to draw blood, Snape is being attacked by fangirls, and your mom's going to sell your horse!" Skie yelled all the things that she could think that Rose would possibly react to and just prayed. Hopefully, the explosion wouldn't kill anyone, just get Rose back into the game, where she was needed. "Rose?" Skie asked.

Rose continued muttering to herself until she herd the words needle and blood, fallowed by Snape and fangirls and the selling of her darling horse. She darted back to reality. "Noooooo, get it away from meeeeee! Professor Snape, I'll save you!!! Soldier!!!!!" Rose almost knocked Skie off her broom as she flailed her arms. Then she froze, and relized that they where back on the pitch and that she did indeed have to Quaffle. Rose blushed.

"Hmm-mmm. Right. The, um, Huffle Hammock, you say? Oh, sure. Lets do that." She nodded at Skie, agreeing.

"Jeez, don't scare me like that again! I thought I was actually going to have to poke you with a needle in order to wake you up!" Skie sighed, gald that Rose was finally back in the game, even though she had almost knocked her off of her broom. "Ready to Huffle Hammock this quaffle?" Skie asked, scooping her arms in the manner that the move dictated. Ready to move as soon as rose put the quaffle into her arms, Skie made some careful mental notes about carrying the quaffle carefully and NOT dropping it. Readying Timothy for some fast, fun movements, Skie shifted her seat bones to a more comfortable position.
"Hey Rose, you ready to rock this pitch?" Skie asked, excitement practically exuding from her. Somethings never got old, and trying to score a goal in quidditch was just one of those things. It was an addiction, quidditch, but if there is such a thing, quidditch was a healthy addiction.

Rose hooked her hands under the Quaffle and grabbing onto Skie's wrists. The red ball felt good in the hands of a Huffie. She smiled, then turned and nodded to her friend. "Right, lets rock this pitch. These birds won't even know what hit them." Then, they flew, as one, towards Polly.

"Oh yeah!" Skie cheered and would have done something stupid with her arms if they hadn't been tied up for scoring a goal on Ravenclaw. Cradling the quaffle in their arms, Skie, quaffle, and Rose sped across the pitch, gaining speed as they approached the Ravenclaw goals. Skie laughed as she felt the wonderful feeling of the wind blowing her hair in every direction and tugging gently on her ponytail like a sibling who wanted attention. Speeding through the air made it seem as if time stopped, because this was where she was supposed to be. Far above the rest of the world, disconnected, free of who she wanted to be and from who everyone wanted her to become, flight was the endless feeling of joy epitomized into one word. Then, in the blink of an eye, or so it seemed, Skie was reminded of her job, putting the quaffle through those goalposts in front of her. Pulling her arms back like a cradle, she and Rose stopped, ready to complete the final part of the Huffle Hammock. As they both began to swing their arms in a steady, rocking motion, Skie prepared herself for the liftoff of the quaffle. "3... 2... 1 GO!" Skie yelled at the top of her lungs as she watched, mesmerized as the quaffle whizzed through the air, a scarlet bullet against the green of the background that was the quidditch pitch.

Rose wooped as they neared the RavenClaw goal posts, and she felt her heart nearly leap from her chest as Skie began the count down. Every moment made her tense.

3.....Rose felt a shiver run down her spine as they began to swing the Quaffle, back and fourth. She looked at the stands, weary of all the eyes looking up at them, watching, waiting for the ding, or possibly not. Rose took a deep breath.

2.....They began to swing the ball faster, picking up a little more speed to help it soar past the Ravvie Keeper. The most important thing right now as to keep focused on the goal, and to not distract her partner in any way.

1.....Ok, Rose thought. This is it. Whatever happens, Huffies are winners forever. The Quaffle rocked back and fourth even faster now, pushing the wind behind it so that a wooooping shoud shot around Rose's ears. Just a little more....

The Quaffle launched threw the air, leaving it's holders and soaring towards the targeted goal. It looked fierce, challenging, as if saying, 'come on, Ravvie! Stop me if you dare!' Rose crossed her finger and closed her eyes.

"Come'on, ding. Ding, ding, ding!"

Dragon was half way out of the locker room door when she realized she was still wearing her PJs. Blushing she changed in ten seconds flat and rushed out the door once more. "Hello hello." she waved to her dear fans out on the stands (although no one waved back) "Oh, how rude." she muttered and swinging her leg over her broom she yelled "Giddy Up Broomy!" and soared in the air.

And then a loud DIIINNGGG rang in the air just as she circled the hoops and she felt it vibrate. "Yay! Rosie! Go Huffie." she yelled while throwing her coffee cup on top of one of the fan's head.

Refreshed with her sudden coffee and sugar rush she sped towards the center of the pitch when her teammates were and waved brightly and giggled. "So what are you doing today my dear fellow Huffies?"

Rose opened her eyes to see Dragon, the other Huffie chaser, heading there way. Rose waved and smiled. "Hey Dragon, we just-"

Dinnnnnnnng! Rose felt a rush of excitment run down her spine. Was that the bell? The, 'Huffies just scored' bell? She turned to Skie. "Was that-"

"Hey Dragon!" Skie said after she had done a victory flip that left blood pounding in her head and a slight dizzyness that was enough to leave her brain spinning to collect the pieces of the words that Dragon was saying. "Well, until now, we were praying for a quaffle to go in! How was your morning?" Skie asked, feeling the blood pulse beneath her skin and her head begin to settle now that she was upright. Scanning the pitch for the qauffle, which could be thrown back in at any moment, Skie suddenly saw a flash of brilliant red in the corner of her eye and dove down to catch the quaffle that was flying up into the air in a perfect arch. Skie felt her fingers graze the ball ever so slightly but felt it slip just a little. Adjusting her hands quickly, Skie finally secured the ball into her hands. "Gotcha!" Skie exclaimed loudly. Tucking the ball under her arm, Skie rose up to a higher altitude to get a better view of the pitch and of where the other players where. As Skie turned though, she realized a tiny, little detail. She had forgotten to keep track of the bludgers and unfortunately, oh look! There was a nasty little bugger of a bludger aiming for her and it was going to hit her without there even being enough time to react. "Ouch." Skie said in advance, clenching her teeth to prepare for a jarring thud and a heck of a lot of pain. Hearing a ringing in her ears and a cracking near the top of her head, Skie suddenly felt faint- like and black spots began to swim in her eyes. Putting her hand up to her head, Skie felt something moist and sticky attach itself to her fingers. Almost afraid to look down, because she knew the sight of a bloody head wound would send her plummeting into the unforgiving earth below her, Skie was slightly comforted by the sight of sweat that glistened like diamonds on her hands.
"Oh my jumping broomsticks, thank Merlin." Skie murmured, closing her eyes for a moment. Looking down, Skie realized that she was still holding the quaffle, her muscles so braced for the impact of the bludger that not even the marrow shaking, bone breaking force of the little black ball could shake the qauffle from her grip. "Well, that saves me a lot of time." Skie said, mostly to herself as she tried to shake the pain that was bubbling beneath the surface of her skin, her nerves screaming for relief. "You are fine", Skie said sternly to herself, putting her screaming cells into the back of her mind.
"Hey Dragon, Rose, is there a particular move you want to perform at this time?" Skie asked as cheerfully as she could.
