The posts can begin on Monday 2nd February
and will end on Sunday 12th February - 10 days of rpg posting!

When
you post - please put your position and team (eg. Gryffindor Beater) in
brackets before you begin the RPG post - otherwise your post will be
void of any points!

Weather: It's unseasonably warm.

Remember
to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the
pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly
begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have
scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See the howler in the
main forum for more info.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Stephy woke with a start ready for th match to begin. She heard about the dates being extended and she was excited. It was going to be her last game of the season and she was looking forward to it. She was a Chaser and she knew that she would do fine for thier last game. So far she knew that ravenclaw was doing great and was egar to see who was going to win the cup.

Stephy jumped out of her bed and quickly opened her trunk. She than started to tear through her clothes looking for her qudditch robes. I should really keep these in the locker room. It would make getting dressed easier since I would know where everything was. she thought to herself as she found a glove and set it beside her on the floor. After searching for what seemed like hours she finally found her entire outfit. She quickly threw it on before she walked over to the mirror in her dorm and admired her reflection.

Stephy jumped as she heard snore break the silence behind her and looking around she knew that it must of came from one of her fellow dorm mates. Should I wake them? she asked herself trying to hold back a giggle but once she looked at the time she knew that her fellow dormies would kill her if she woke them up this early. Instead Stephy tied her hair up and headed out of the dorm room trying to be as quiet as possible.

Once she was sure no one would be able to hear her, she dashed out of the room and down the moving stairs. A few times she had to stop running or else she would fall off of the stairs and down into the depths below. Stephy knew that Rai wouldn't want to spend the day cleaning up what remained of her on the floor down below so she carefully made her way down to the first floor.

She was now outside of the Great Hall and she looked inside to see that no one was there. She was debating as to whether or not she would go in there to get some food but she was sure that she was up so early that there was probably no food there anyways. Stephy made up her mind and exited the school instead.

The first thing she noticed was how warm it was. It was still cold to her but the weather was warmer than usual and Stephy cheeered. "WHoo Hoo winter is coming to an end" she shouted. She knew that there was still awhile to go before winter was over but that ddint stop her from cheering. Instead she quickly made her way down to the pitch and into the locker room.

Here she started o look around the place trying to find where she put her broom. "Oh broomie broomie broomie, where are you?" Stephy called out as she glanced artound the area for her broom. Than she spoted it in the corner all by itself. "BROOMIE!" Stephy shouted as she ran over to it and ghave it a hug.

"Are you ready for the last game of the season Broomie?" Stephy asked it. It gave her no repsonse and so she said "I know your too nervous to speak. I know your excited. Let's go out there and kick some Slytherin butt!!!"

Stephy tahn rushed outside and swung her leg over her broom, once again celebrating the end of winter. She kicked hard off of the ground rising into the air, feeling the wind hitting her face. "Whoo Hoo let the games begin" she said flying around in circles waiting for other players to arrive

(RAVENCLAW BEATER CAPTAIN)

It was here.

The last game of the season, her team's last chance to prove they were deserving of the Quidditch Cup.

So, basically, no pressure, no pressure at all.

Elana hadn't really slept the night before and spent the night in the common room jazzed up on Vanilla Coke as she went over plays, calculated their strengths and weaknesses, figuring out what they needed to win the Cup before falling into a fitful sleep. Her team was top in the running, but Slytherin was close behind, and the others right at their tails. They needed to kick butt this game, and she was looking forward to it. Massive plays, great team work, and fantastic scoring. They needed it all.

That morning, she grabbed a light breakfast from the Hall before heading down to the pitch. Peeling her orange on the way to the pitch, Elana took a look to the sky and smiled, albeit a bit drowsily, at the bright blue. It was warm today, warmer than it'd been in weeks, and she had shed her heavy coat, scarf and mittens by the time she entered the locker room. There, Elana methodically prepared for the game, pulling her hair back into a ponytail before slipping on her regal blue Quidditch robes along with her knee, elbow and wrist guards, lacing up her boots and taking out her broom and bat. She took a deep breath and shouldered the broom.

Walking back out into the sun, she took a good look around. This was it, it was here, and they were going to win.

Nothing like a confidence boost, eh?

Elana swung a leg over her broom and kicked off from the thawing ground to join Stephy in the air. Hovering beside her, she asked, "Ready for the party? I hear the others are going to throw us a great one this year, even if we - " she continued in a whisper " - lose. But never fear! We'll do great! I have a great feeling about today!"

Rigby Dumbledore

{Ravenclaw Seeker}

Rigby bounced into the Ravenclaw locker room, her spirits high. This was there chance to win the Quidditch Cup, to bring it home where it belonged. Her excitement was electric, and she was surprised to not see sparks flying from her fingertips. Opening her locker, she carefully took out her keeper gloves. She said a quick blessing that they would help guide her hands as she blocked the Slytherin's shots on goal.

Within minutes she was dressed, having taken the time to dig out her summer robes, as the weather was warmer than expected this time of year. She didn't want to risk blinding her self in the eyes with sweat. She would have one of the Ravenclaw first years carry her coat, in case it turned cold. It was going to be a long game.

Rigby chugged down some V-8 Fusion, needing all the vitamins and energy she could get. Finally, she was ready to join her teammates for the last time on the pitch. Winner takes all, it was up to her and her house to decide how bad they wanted this cup. Flying out into the warm sweet scented air, she was seized with the feeling that this was their game to lose. Look out Slytherins, she thought.

Raistlin The Wizard

Raistlin rushed to the pit carrying the wooden box with the Quidditch Balls. Quickly putting it on
the ground and tipping it with his wand it flew open and the balls went soaring.

Getting up in his broom he flew to the middle of the pitch, released the Quaffle and blew the whistle.

"Game started!"

Rigby Dumbledore

{Raveclaw Seeker}

Rigby's stomach filled with nervous butterflies as Raisty released the Quaffles. She wanted to win this game so bad she could taste it. Yummmmm, it tastes like chocolate. Suddenly craving chocolate, she hurriedly dug a Reese's peanut butter egg from her robe's pocket. No one from Slytherin was even on the pitch, so she had time.

Flying around her hoops, munching on her chocolatey goodness, she put herself through the motions of blocking shots. She practiced her new bristle smack, the move in which she used the very end of her broom to smack away the quaffle in an emergency. The newly released snitch went buzzing by, reminded her of pass glories and wins. She paused a moment before performing the bristle smack on the snitch, sending it towards the Slytherin stands.

"Oops, sorry!" she called out. She quickly turned her back on the crowd, desperately trying to hide her smile. Several first years had screamed, and quite a few were so scared that they had to be taken to the hospital wing. Rigby calmed her anxious heart, ready for the Slytherins to take to the pitch and try to snatch the cup from Ravenclaw's grasping clutches.

(Ravenclaw Seeker)

Stephy heard Elana talkign about a party and quietly saying about them losing. "Don't worry we'll win this for sure. After all I have yet to see a Slytherin" She laughed as she watched Rigby enter the pitch.

Just than Rai had arrived with the balls and Stephy started to feel a little sick. "Oh my, oh my, oh my" she repeated as she watched Rai releash the balls. It was now time, the game started and in order for them to take the cup they had to win this. "You can dio it, you did sorta okay on the last game" she said to herself as she zoomed down to snatch up the quaffle taking her time. She didn;t want her nerves to get the better of her and she would end up missing the ball looking like a fool in front of the entire school.

She snatched the ball just before it hit the ground and pulled up to head for the SLytherin goal posts. As she zoomed down the pitch she decided that she would try to make this last game interesting anf try to go out with a bang. "Time to throw in fancy moves" she said as she tossed the quaffle into the air.

"I call this the kick off" she said as she stood up on her broom handle and steadied herself, still going forward and watching the quaffle fall down closer towards her. Just as the ball was within reach she did something sort of like a cartwheel. She held her arms up and than leaned forward like one would do as they started a cartwheel and was glad that her hands had landed on her broom handle, otherwise she would of feel down itno the ground face first. She remembered all of the times she had pratcied this and had it end the same way, started the cartwheel, missed the broom handle, ended up in the hospital wing. But since she had gottened her grip on the handle she was able to contiue on with the cartwheel pushing her feet up into the air, At this point the ball was right at her feet and as she followed through with the cartwheel her foot smacked into the quaffle as she wanted and went zooming down ever closer to the goal posts. Thats when Stephy quickly conpleted her cartwheel by swining forward and over the edge of her broom but luckily she still had a grip on her broom and she didnt fall to the ground but was now dangling there.

Stephy quickly threw herself back onto her broom and than zoomed down to the pitch. She saw that the quaffle was going to miss the hoop if it didn't go up a bit higher and so that's when she followed behind it and than gave it a little kick to make it zoom faster towards the hoop and also make it so that it was dead center with the middle of it.

Stephy than slowed down watching the ball to see whether or not her move had worked

(Slytherin Seeker and Replacement Captain)

Gemma had disappeared and the team had seemed to have gotten lost and confused without her, so Cat decided to self-proclaim herself replacement captain until her return. After making a trip around the Slytherin dungeons, knocking on Violet, Jamoki, Ziggy, Pheonix, and Katherine's doors, she grabbed her old quidditch uniform and dusty old broom and ran to the locker rooms, determined to have at least one Slytherin show up to their last game. Supposedly none showed to the last one and she almost felt embarrassed for being a Slytherin.

Once in the locker rooms, Cat quickly dressed into her uniform and began putting on the safety gear. If she wasn't in such a hurry, she would have probably enjoyed the whole returning to playing quidditch. After all she hadn't played since last term and that felt like a century ago. She would have definitely enjoyed the feel of the air on her face as she lifted off the ground and into the air instead of worrying and quickly examining the field.

As she looked around, she heard the sound of screams coming from the Slytherin stands. By the look on Rigby's face it seemed that something had flown towards them. Either that or a family of giant spiders showed up, but Cat reckoned it was the first. She then looked over at Rigby and was silently glad that the other seeker did not have sight of the snitch. It would be disheartening to make it to the match and have someone else steal the snitch already.

Her eyes began scanning the field again, searching for the flying gold ball and hoping that her team mates would soon join her on the field.

(Slytherin Chaser)

The luminous light shone from the spacious windows of the Slytherin girls’ dorms, the vivid light brushed Phoenix’s eyes eventually awaking her from her slumber. Its too early, she thought to herself as she closed her eyes. OH QUIDDITCH!!, she thought allowed within her own mind.

Plummeting out of her bed, Phoenix quickly got herself into her emerald green robes, which proudly represented Slytherin. left the common room, rapidly making her way down to the locker rooms. “Hello?” She asked, looking around the empty room. “Why could I forget the last game of the term?!” She said, angrily to herself. Sighing to herself, she quickly changed into her Quidditch uniform whilst leaving the locker room, Phoenix grabbed her scruffy broom and running towards the pitch.

Once at the ground entrance, Phoenix jumped onto her broom, entering the pitch only to be greeted by screaming Slytherins and Ravenclaws. Phoenix glanced around the stands, keeping her eye on the Quaffle.

(RAVENCLAW BEATER CAPTAIN)

"Nice shot, Stephy!" Elana cheered. "Perfect Kick Off! Great way to start the game!"

Elana gave Cat and Phoenix a wave of greeting before beginning her search for a Bludger. Spying one circling the base of the Slytherin goal posts, she shot off after it before it changed direction. Now that they had opponents on the pitch, it was time to send them off of it. Or distract them, at least, with some flying Bludgers. Since the game had just begun, she didn't think that either of the Seekers would be spotting the Snitch so soon, and so she knew who her target had to be - Phoenix.

"Come on, Bludgie, that's it, to the Slytherin Chaser we go," Elana muttered as she swooped down on the circling Bludger. She raised her batting arm and gave the ball a hearty THWACK, sending it back down the pitch. Racing after it, Elana multitasked, keeping track of both the racing Bludger and the flying Slytherin. She planned to use their relentless Harpy move in which the Beater would keep hitting Bludgers near the opposing team member, but not close enough for injury. Distraction coupled immediately with annoyance, which lessened focus, equaling hopefull success on the Ravenclaw's part. Keeping this in mind, Elana came up beside the Bludger and, after carefully aiming, hit the ball towards the underside of Phoenix's broom.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Stephy heard Elana call out to her on her shot. "Thannks" Stephy said beaming as she looked around the pitch and saw that Slytherins were arriving. "This will be a fun match" she said as she watched the Slytherins climb onto their brooms and rise itno the air. Looking closer she saw that it was her sister Cat and Phoenix.

"Hiya Cat" Stephy called out to her waving. Just than Stephy saw that Phoenix was eyeing the quaffle and knew she had to be the chaser. Stephy waited to hear whether there was a ding or not to indicate if the ball made it in. She didn;t see if it did or not as she had made it in the goal posts when she kicked it since Elana distarcted her while shouting nice shot. She looked up to the score to see if she had the ten points while she kept Phoenix in ther corner of her eye watching to see if she got the quaffle or not
