When

Weather: It's unseasonably warm.

Remember
to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the
pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly
begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have
scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See the howler in the
main forum for more info.

(Gryffindor Beater)

It was the last game of the term. Pamela was a little sad to see quidditch go, but it had been a bad term for Gryffindor. A large part of her was ready to finish the term off. She hoped they'd be able to end with a bang. That would remain to be seen.

Through the term Pamela had played seeker and chaser before finally settling on beater. It had always been her dream position and she was disappointed that she didn't really get much chance to have fun with it. Perhaps this game would bring her that chance.

Pamela crawled out of bed surprisingly early for her. When she slipped out of bed, she braced herself for the usual shock of the cold stone floor on bare feet. She was amazed when that shock didn't come. It wasn't exactly as warm as it was during the spring and autumn months, but it certainly wasn't a winter floor. Maybe they were going to be fortunate enough to have nice weather. The sun did appear to be making an appearance, so perhaps that would be true.

After getting showered and changed, Pamela went down for a light breakfast. She didn't want to overeat or anything, but she wanted to get some fuel. That didn't take very long at all. In a matter of thirty minutes she was in the locker room getting the rest of the gear together. She stepped out into the unexpectedly warm sunlight, looking forward to what would hopefully be a very good game. She flew into the air reveling in the warm feeling on her face. It truly was a beautiful day for quidditch.

Raistlin rushed to the pit carrying the wooden box with the Quidditch Balls. Quickly putting it on
the ground and tipping it with his wand it flew open and the balls went soaring.

Getting up in his broom he flew to the middle of the pitch, released the Quaffle and blew the whistle.

"Game started!"
