After a long delay, the dueling tournament is finally ready to begin! As we don't have much time, the first round will be only open for one week.

Rules:

As in the past, you may not display any special skill that you are not officially able to lay claim to (i.e. No morphing into a tiger and clawing your opponent unless you have actually been bestowed the title on an animagus on the site.)

Along with your wand you may bring in two additional items, however they must be stated in your first post and I have the right to deny the use of any item I deem to be too much of an advantage (no all-powerful potions please!).

Remember that you only control your own actions. You can hurl a curse at someone, but you cannot say how it affects them. I understand that sometimes it is frustrating if your opponent always manages to dodge your spells, but know that I will be looking for creativity and skill and can recognize the good duelers from the bad ones.

Although you do not need to use established spells, you also cannot solely use them either! For every Accio and Expelliarmus, I expect to see your own unique spells.
