Ancient Rune drabbles

For this assignment I want you to simply create two Drabbles.

1) This first Drabble I would like you to create is about the Blank Rune (Note: this may require you to do some research)

60 house points

2) The second drabble which I would like you to complete is about anything to do with Ancient Runes. It could be set on an adventure or simply in the Ancient Runes class room is it completely up to you. Be creative!

30 house points

Both drabbles must be completed to receive the correct amount of house points. 10 points will be awarded to the person with the best drabbles.

Part One

Many don’t use the blank runes because they do not think that it is appropriate to use. They don’t even consider it to be a rune so that is why they do not use it and don’t think too much of it. There are others though who would disagree with that. They say that the blank rune is given so that you could replace that one with any other runes that you might have lost. They use the blank rune in their readings and they have their own interpretation as to what it means. Some use it, some do not.

Part Two

I looked at the runes that were laid before me. “What does this one mean?” I asked the lady who had placed that one down.

“It means that-“ the lady started to say but I quickly cut her off and started to ask her another question.

“What about this one, and this one, and this” I said as I pointed to each card one by one. “And this one too”

“Will you be quiet so that I can explain” the lady shouted and I grew quiet. “As I was saying before you interrupted me… “she continued this time without interruption.
