1. Using the above chart, convert your username into numbers – Show how you would get down to a single digit, showing the process. (10 points)

E L A N A
5 3 1 5 1

5 + 3 + 1 + 5 + 1 = 15

1 + 5 = 6

2. What is this number called? (5 points)

This number is called the Character number.

3. Calculate your heart number.(10 points)

E L A N A
5 3 1 5 1

5 + 1 + 1 = 7

4. What does the heart number represent? (5 points)

The Heart number reveals your inner heart, any wishes and fears you may be hiding from others and even yourself.

5. Calculate your social number (10 points)

E L A N A
5 3 1 5 1

3 + 5 = 8

6. What does the social number represent? (5 points)

The Social number is the part of yourself that you let the world see.

7. Using the above personality numbers (found in question 1), describe what they tell you about your personality! (10 points)

I found that my Character number is six, so let's see what is said about that.

Quote:
Six represents harmony, friendship, and family life. Sixes are loyal, reliable, and loving. They adapt easily. They do well in teaching and the arts, but are often unsuccessful in business. They are sometimes prone to gossip and complacency.

Even though this calculation was done with my username and not my real name, it is spot on! Guess I just have a knack for choosing a fitting name for myself, hehe. I don't pick fights or anything, which leads to a harmonious lifestyle; I value my friendships and family more than anything, which points to my being loyal. The second sentence in the description works as well, won't reword and bold it, but I swear it does! I want to become a teacher and love art, but can't see myself doing well in the business world, don't have the heart for that. And...I am a bit of a gossip, I can admit it. I can also be complacent and settle for things even if I'm not entirely pleased with them.

8. Using two characters from the Harry Potter verse, work out their personality number, (as in question 1) and describe their compatibility. (20 points)

H A R R Y J A M E S P O T T E R
8 1 9 9 7 1 1 4 5 1 7 6 2 2 5 9

8 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 7 + 1 + 1 + 4 + 5 + 1 + 7 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 5 + 9 = 77

7 + 7 = 14

1 + 4 = 5

R O N A L D B I L I U S W E A S L E Y
9 6 5 1 3 4 2 9 3 9 3 1 5 5 1 1 3 5 7

9 + 6 + 5 + 1 + 3 + 4 + 2 + 9 + 3 + 9 + 3 + 1 + 5 + 5 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 82

8 + 2 = 10

1 + 0 = 1

Well, let's see what we can do with this. Harry's Character number of 5 indicates that he is unstable, conceited, quick tempered, impatient, daring, energetic, and unbalanced. I think this fits him quite well. Ron's Character number of 1 indicates that he is a loner, independent, focused, a leader, domineering, self-centered, and egotistical. This doesn't really match the Ron we know and love, however if put together with the description for 5 I think we have a Harry. These numbers don't point to the two of them having the wonderful friendship they have, so I guess life isn't all dependent on the numbers.

9. Using any ship within the Harry Potter verse, work out what the future holds for them using the concept learnt in question 1. (25 points)

R O N A L D B I L I U S W E A S L E Y
9 6 5 1 3 4 2 9 3 9 3 1 5 5 1 1 3 5 7

9 + 6 + 5 + 1 + 3 + 4 + 2 + 9 + 3 + 9 + 3 + 1 + 5 + 5 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 82

8 + 2 = 10

1 + 0 = 1

H E R M I O N E J A N E G R A N G E R
8 5 9 4 9 6 5 5 1 1 5 5 7 9 1 5 7 5 9

8 + 5 + 9 + 4 + 9 + 6 + 5 + 5 + 1 + 1 + 5 + 5 + 7 + 9 + 1 + 5 + 7 + 5 + 9 = 106

1 + 0 + 6 = 7

Hermione's Character number fits her spot on, I love it and need to share:

Quote:
Perceptive, understanding, and bright, sevens enjoy hard work and challenges. They are often serious, scholarly, and interested in all things mysterious. Originality and imagination are more important than money and material possessions. Sevens can also be pessimistic, sarcastic, and insecure.

Based solely on the numbers and what they mean, Romione would fail. HOWEVER, numbers aren't always accurate. I can see Ron much more as a 3 than a 1.

Quote:
Three represents the idea of completeness or wholeness, as in the threesomes past-present-future and mind-body-spirit. Three indicates talent, energy, an artistic nature, humor, and social ease. Threes are often lucky, easygoing, and highly successful, but they can also be unfocused, easily offended, and superficial.

And you know...his heart number is 3. Curious.
(I swear I didn't know that before I read the descriptions and picked 3! I feel so knowing :D)

Let's see what Hermione's is and compare those.

H E R M I O N E J A N E G R A N G E R
8 5 9 4 9 6 5 5 1 1 5 5 7 9 1 5 7 5 9

5 + 9 + 6 + 5 + 1 + 5 + 1 + 5 = 37

3 + 7 = 10

1 + 0 = 1

Okay, so, this didn't really help my theory. Aspects of 1 fit Hermione ("Ones are independent, focused, and determined. They set a goal and stick to it...don't like to take orders...They are often loners."), so I can't dismiss it as easily as I dismissed Ron's Character number. - sigh -

ANYWAY.

Based on the numbers, Romione wouldn't work. Good thing we know that they overcame that, dated, got married, had a few kids, and lived a long and happy life together :D
